Hey everyone, XeraX here, site owner. The number one rescue job on my bench is a radio someone wrote a new codeplug to without saving the original. Before you touch a MOTOTRBO radio in CPS 2.0: read the radio, save the archive with the serial number in the file name, and keep a copy off your laptop. That original holds the radio's own tuning and feature info you can't recreate from a generic file. Also match your CPS version to the radio firmware; an older CPS often won't open a codeplug from newer firmware. How do you name and store your archives? Share your system below.
